How many types of solder bars are there?

With the continuous development of society, more and more electronic industries have also developed rapidly. Solder bars are the most commonly used solder materials in the electronics industry. Maybe you don't know about solder bars, so there are several types of solder bars. Kind of? The following staff from Shenzhen Xinghongtai factory introduced to you:

1. According to the presence or absence of lead, the solder bars are divided into the following two types:

Lead solder bar: An alloy consisting of tin and lead with a melting point of 183 degrees.

2. Lead-free solder bar: made of tin-copper alloy. Common lead-free environmentally friendly solders are tin-copper (Sn-0.7Cu), tin-silver-copper (Sn-0.3Ag-0.5Cu), tin-silver-copper (Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu), depending on the composition.

Second, according to the liquidus temperature critical point, the solder bar has high temperature solder bar and low temperature solder bar.

The solder bar with a liquidus temperature higher than the tin-lead eutectic melting point-183 degrees is a high-temperature solder bar, and the high-temperature solder bar is a solder bar formed when a silver, germanium or lead ratio is added to the solder alloy, and the high-temperature solder bar is formed. It is mainly used for assembly of components that do not change when the motherboard is assembled; the liquidus temperature is lower than the tin-lead eutectic melting point - the solder bar of 183 degrees is a low-temperature solder bar, and the low-temperature solder bar is added with germanium and indium in the solder alloy. Solder bars formed of cadmium are mainly used for assembly of parts with low heat resistance such as microelectronic sensors.

Third, according to chemical properties, commonly used solder bar types are anti-oxidation solder bars and high-purity low-slag solder bars.

High-purity low-slag solder bar: The raw material used is 100% electrolytic tin, lead or tin-lead alloy. Cast or extruded by casting. Therefore, it promotes its stable high-heavy, ultra-low slag and high wettability, making it adaptable to various welding processes.

Anti-oxidation solder bar: It has good anti-oxidation ability, high fluidity, strong weldability, little scum during melting, and little oxidation in immersion and wave soldering. It is an economical solder bar that saves tin. Excellent wettability and weldability, full and uniform solder joints, good soldering effect.

There are several types of solder bars mentioned above. The solder strips are made of high-purity tin raw materials from Yunnan Tin Mine, which are fused with electrolytic copper, with special manufacturing methods and high-standard production processes.
