The role and use of different types of solder wire

Solder wire action

The solder wire used for the soldering of the manual electronic device is composed of a tin alloy and an auxiliary agent. 1. Rosin type solder wire: It is suitable for electronic repair welding of electronic components and related components. After welding, the residue has high impedance, no leakage, and can pass high voltage test. It is the most commonly used tin wire in the electronics industry.

2. no-clean solder wire: suitable for PCB welding repair, such as less welding residue, high insulation resistance, clean board surface.

3. Nickel-plated solder wire: It is suitable for the welding of hard materials such as nickel, surface nickel-plated components, wires, terminals, sockets, and lamp holders. 

4. welding aluminum solder wire: suitable for aluminum welding, this kind of flux is non-rosin type, the welding is firm and reliable, the effect is very good, the residue after welding can be washed with water.

5. stainless steel solder wire: suitable for stainless steel welding, this kind of flux is non-rosin type, the welding is firm and reliable, the effect is very good, the residue after welding can be washed with water.

6. solid core solder wire: no flux, suitable for special purposes such as fuses, metal pipe fittings.

7. mobile phone drag welding special solder wire: suitable for mobile phone accessories, IC, cable, cable and other multi-angle welding, welding effect is very good, tiny spacing drag welding once in place.
